Home Remedies for Acne

Orange peel. Grind orange peel and mix it with some water to make a paste. Apply it on the pimples.
Toothpaste. Apply toothpaste on the affected area before going to bed at night. It should help reduce swelling overnight.
Papaya juice. Apply the juice of a papaya to the irritated pimples.
Rose water and limejuice. Mix rose water and limejuice in equal parts and apply on the affected area. Wash off after 15-20 minutes with lukewarm water.
Tomatoes. Apply the pulp of ripe tomatoes on acne, leave it on for about an hour, and then wash off with lukewarm water.
Mint juice. Apply fresh mint juice on face before sleeping to prevent acne breakouts. Wash off in the morning with lukewarm water.
Garlic. Crush a few garlic cloves, and dab it to the affected area twice a day.
Ice it! Apply ice to the area before going to bed. It helps reduce the swelling of the acne.
Salt and Vinegar. Combine salt and vinegar to a paste and rub it on the affected area. Wash off after 20 minutes.
Wheatgrass. Drink lots of wheatgrass juice.
