Stress is one of the factors considered as a precursor of acne, while some people disagree with it, saying that stress only worsens acne but does not actually cause this skin disease. But what’s important here is that we should know that adding stress and acne together is not a good idea.

During stress, our levels of stress hormones increase, causing hormonal imbalance and inevitable worsening of acne breakouts. This is usual in adult men and women. Controlling stress is generally a good suggestion. So if you’re one of those regularly stressed women, or men, it is normally a good idea to learn and recognize the early periods of a stress attack, so you can take action to avoid these attacks.
